So you’ve made it through your first semester, you’ve made it through half of second semester, and now you have a week of freedom to do whatever you want. This movie is a guaranteed sob-fest. You have the bad boy, you have the good girl, you have a dramatic plot twist (I won’t spoil it), and you have that heart wrenching ending that could even make the manliest man ugly cry.
2. The Last Song
Not only do you get to watch Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth fall in love on screen and off (ily Liley), but you also get the emotional drama that comes with family, love, and loss. Ah, what a classic.
3. The Notebook
You didn’t think I’d make this list without this did you? The Notebook is the rom-com of the 21st century. Nothing like an insanely sad movie to reinforce the cliche “If you love something, let it go. If it comes back to you, its yours forever. If it doesn’t, then it was never meant to be”– Unknown.
