I’ve never been a meditator or pretty much anything of the sort. My life can often be described as high-strung even (uh oh!). But this app changed me, helped me so much with acclimating to school, and serves a myriad of different purposes.
This is a mediation app that has free podcasts on achieving happiness, calming down, releasing tension, reaching goals, dealing with pain and sadness, and healing relationships. So, pretty much every significant aspect of college. It is available on iOS for free.
Some of these podcasts are in the form of morning meditations while others offer deep sleep and are restorative. They range from 2 minutes to 2 hours depending on what you are looking for. It is a great aide to have because it is always there. For many of these journeys, we look for people to help us deal. But, sometimes that isn’t always the most immediate fix or even the best for us at the time. An unbiased opinion might serve us better- I know it did for me.
This is a great choice for those looking to get the most out of their freshman year experience by always having this helpful and handy tool.
