Wondering what you should do for dinner this Tuesday? I’m not.
College students are notorious for finding the best “hole in the wall” restaurants throughout their many late night wanderings. Well, I’ll save you some wandering and tell you right now to head to Los Gamelos. This place is hands down the best Mexican food I have ever eaten. From the free chips and salsa they serve right when you sit down to the friendly workers who come to your table and offer you a Margarita, they have got their restaurant etiquette down to a t.
Their menu features all of the classic items that you would expect form a Mexican restaurant served with rice and beans as the standard. You can order a la carte or get a full meal, but either way you wont leave unsatisfied. They have healthier options available as well as all the fried deliciousness your heart desires. You can choose from steak, chicken, or veggies for most entrees while also featuring a lettuce wrap option for those looking for a lighter meal.
My personal favorite is the steak chimichangas, but honestly I’ve never had anything
I didn’t enjoy. I can (slightly shamefully) say that everything on their menu is delicious.
Reasons to go to Los Gemelos:
